How much does a Komodo boat trip cost per person, all in? On Senada Phinisi, 12 guests pay IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) each for the boat on 3 days. Foreign guests buy the park ticket at IDR 250,000. Indonesian guests pay IDR 50,000 on a weekday.
The boat, per person, by group size
Start with the boat, because it is the biggest line and the only one we price. The per-person table runs from 2 to 18 guests for each route. For 3 days, 12 guests pay IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) each and 18 pay IDR 5,330,000 (≈ USD 327). For 2 days the same groups pay IDR 5,250,000 (≈ USD 322) and IDR 4,170,000 (≈ USD 256).
Rounded to the nearest ten thousand rupiah, the figures are close enough for planning and exact enough to plan a bank transfer around. A seat on a shared sailing is the other way to count: IDR 5,300,000 (≈ USD 325), IDR 6,700,000 (≈ USD 411) or IDR 7,450,000 (≈ USD 457) for 3 days, by cabin.

The park ticket, per guest
A park ticket is a separate line. A foreign guest pays IDR 250,000. At weekends an Indonesian guest pays IDR 75,000, against IDR 50,000 on a weekday.
Per guest. Never in a boat price. Ranger and pier levies are separate from the ticket, and they can change. Snorkelling is covered by the entry ticket.
Tell us your group's nationalities and the dates, and we write the park line into the confirmation. Find out who is an Indonesian citizen and who is not, because the ticket differs between the two.
For a family with mixed nationalities, count each guest on their own line. The ticket depends on the guest, and the sum for the group is the sum of the lines.

One package covers the government entrance ticket (IDR 250,000 per foreign visitor per day, PP 36/2024), the ranger fee and the local levies. It is quoted per guest, separate from the boat price. For other trip lengths, the desk quotes the package with your booking.

What a flight and a hotel night add
Flights to Labuan Bajo and the hotel nights before and after are not ours. Check them on the day you book, because they move. Book the flight home last, once the date is firm.
Land the day before the pickup. It is before an 11:00 start. Book a hotel for that night, and another for the night you return if your flight home is the next day, because on the last day of a 3-day or 4-day trip the flight leaves after 14:00.
The hotels page lists choices in Labuan Bajo. Hotels are not in any price.
If the group flies in on one day and out on another, count hotel nights per person, not per room. Two share a room and the sum halves, so say so in the chat.
Tips, drinks and extras
Tips are not in the price, and we give no amount. The group decides, on the last day, together.
Drinks: free-flow mineral water, tea, coffee and milk are on board for every trip. Ask us before you plan around any other drink.
On a private trip the tour guide and the documentation are not included. On request, we quote them separately. On a shared sailing they are in the seat.
Pocket money for the beach, a gift for the crew if the group wants one, a souvenir in Labuan Bajo: none of these is in the price, and none of them is set by us.
An all-in sum for 4, 12 and 18
Four guests: the boat is IDR 18,250,000 (≈ USD 1,120) each, and the Superior seat is IDR 5,300,000 (≈ USD 325). For four people the seat is the lower fare. Add a park ticket and the flights.
Twelve guests: the boat is IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) each. Eighteen guests: the boat is IDR 5,330,000 (≈ USD 327) each. Add a park ticket and the flights, and do the sum once for everyone.
The all-in total changes mostly with the flights, which we cannot see. Collect the cost of the flights, and add that line last.
Put the three sums in one message, and the group can see the whole picture at once. The boat line changes with the head count; the flights change with the airline.
Where the prices come from and when they change
Prices come from the October 2026 rate card.
Park fees come from the shared park data and can change, and we say so when the data changes. Sunrise and sunset come from the month tables on the site.
We confirm every figure in writing before you pay, and we correct the page if a confirmation shows it out of date.

FAQ
What is the total cost per person?
The boat is IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) each for 12 guests on 3 days. Add a park ticket of IDR 250,000 for a foreign guest, your flights and hotels. Tips are extra. We list every line in the confirmation, with the guide and documentation quoted separately on a private trip.
Are park tickets the same for children?
The park sets the ticket, and we do not state a child rate that we cannot see. Tell us the ages and the nationalities, and we confirm in writing what applies to each guest. Park tickets are never in a boat price.
Do I tip the crew?
Tips are not in the price, and we give no amount. It is for your group to decide on the last day. The crew of 7 belongs to the boat, and anything the group wants to give them is a decision for the group.
Is a drink on board paid extra?
Free-flow mineral water, tea, coffee and milk are on board for every trip. Ask us before the trip about anything else you want on board, and we answer in writing.
Does the price change in 2027?
2027 can be booked now. The October 2026 rate card applies until the 2027 card is issued, and we confirm the price in writing before you pay. Open-trip dates for 2027 are on request.
