Senada Phinisi
Two days, one night, the whole classic loop
Updated 26 October 2026
Komodo 2 days 1 night boat for groups: two days and one night is the shortest trip we run. The whole of Senada Phinisi costs IDR 58,000,000 (≈ USD 3,558) for 1 to 8 guests and IDR 63,000,000 (≈ USD 3,865) for 9 to 12. On the Monday and Wednesday sailings, seats start at IDR 4,000,000 (≈ USD 245).
Day 1: Kelor, Rinca, then Kalong at sunset
Two days and one night is the shortest trip Senada runs, and it has no day-trip version. The two days cover the same loop as the longer trips, just without the extra morning.
Day 1. Pickup from your hotel or the airport comes before an 11:00 start. You have lunch on board while the boat heads for Kelor, then trek at Rinca. The day finishes with sunset at Kalong, at 17:57 in July.
Dinner is on board. The captain picks the night's anchorage that day, going by the weather, and either way the cabin is yours.

Pickup comes before the 11:00 start and is the one fixed hour. Every other time on this page is a planning guide, and the captain sets the stop order on the day.
Day 2: sunrise on Padar, then snorkels until the evening
Day 2 begins on Padar. Sunrise in July is at 06:18, and the way up is stairs and dirt path, so settle the night before who is going. Breakfast is back on the boat.
Next come Pink Beach, lunch, and snorkelling at Taka Makassar and Manta Point. Manta Point is on the route; whether the mantas show up is the sea's business, and the captain chooses when everyone gets in.
There is no fixed return time on day 2, because the loop follows the sea, and you are back in Labuan Bajo once it is done. Book onward travel for the next day, or check with us before you book anything for day two.
Whole boat, or a seat on the Monday and Wednesday sailings
Both bands for the whole boat are in the table below, and each guest from the thirteenth up to 18 adds IDR 2,000,000 (≈ USD 123).
Either way the price covers transfers, meals, snacks and drinks, and snorkel gear. A private price leaves out the tour guide and the documentation; ask and they get their own quote. No price includes park tickets.
Seats are sold by the cabin on Mondays (Monday to Tuesday) and Wednesdays (Wednesday to Thursday): IDR 4,000,000 (≈ USD 245) for a Superior seat, IDR 5,200,000 (≈ USD 319) for a Deluxe Ocean seat and IDR 5,700,000 (≈ USD 350) for a Panoramic seat. The guide and documentation come with every seat, and an extra bed adds IDR 3,000,000 (≈ USD 184).

Six people against twelve: the sum each pays
Start with six people. The whole boat for 2 days is IDR 58,000,000 (≈ USD 3,558), or IDR 9,670,000 (≈ USD 593) each. A Superior seat is IDR 4,000,000 (≈ USD 245), so at six the seats work out cheaper, and the guide is included.
Now twelve. The boat is IDR 63,000,000 (≈ USD 3,865), which comes to IDR 5,250,000 (≈ USD 322) each. That undercuts the Panoramic seat at IDR 5,700,000 (≈ USD 350), and your group has the whole deck.
Finally eighteen, with all six cabins full: IDR 75,000,000 (≈ USD 4,601) for the boat, IDR 4,170,000 (≈ USD 256) each. Even then the Superior seat stays the cheapest option, so at any size the boat wins on privacy rather than on price.
Who this length suits, and who needs a third day
Two days suit a group with a long weekend, grandparents who'd like one night aboard before committing to more, and friends who can't all get a week off.
Go for a third day if the group wants a slow morning. With it, the route adds a snorkel at Siaba or Sebayur and then heads back around midday, which finally gives everyone time to sit down. Stick with two if every extra day means someone taking leave.
Together, the group covers seven stops in this order: Kelor, Rinca and Kalong on the first day, Padar, Pink Beach, Taka Makassar and finally Manta Point on the second. Time on your own means the cabin and the sundeck. The stairs on Padar and the paths on Rinca are real, and grandparents and small children decide on the day how far they climb.
FAQ
Is there a one-day Komodo trip?
No. Senada's shortest trip is two days and one night: Kelor, Rinca and sunset at Kalong on day one, then on day two the Padar sunrise, Pink Beach, Taka Makassar and Manta Point. We don't sell a one-day trip.
What time is pickup on day 1?
Pickup from your hotel or the airport comes before an 11:00 start, and we confirm the exact time for your hotel in writing beforehand. Lunch is served on board as the boat sails for Kelor.
Do we sleep on the boat on the first night?
Yes. Every guest has a place in a cabin on board, with air conditioning, an ensuite bathroom and hot water. Where she lies overnight is the captain's call on the day, made with the weather, and dinner is on board.
Is Manta Point on the 2-day route?
Yes, on day two, after Taka Makassar. The sea decides whether mantas are there, and the captain and the guide decide when everyone gets in. We can promise the stop, but not the sighting.
When are we back on day 2?
When the loop is finished. There is no fixed return hour, so don't plan anything around one. Book onward travel for the following day, or talk to us before anyone in the group books something for the afternoon or evening of day two.
