Four guides for the person who organises the trip
Updated 26 October 2026
Komodo trip planning guides for groups: four guides for the person who books Senada Phinisi for up to 18 guests. They cover how many days, children and safety, the cost per person all in, and how to organise 12 to 18 people.
The four guides and who each is for
There are four guides, and each is written for one question the organiser gets from the group.
How many days: two, three or four, and what each gives a group. Komodo with children: rangers, heat, stairs, the cabins and the first swim. Cost per person, all in: the boat, the park ticket and everything that sits outside. Organising 12 to 18 people: head count, money, cabins and the message to send.
Each one has its own tables, and each ends with a message you can paste into the chat. None of them asks you to decide before you have read the price tables, and none of them replaces our written confirmation.

Start with the guide that matches your question
If the question is about time, start with the guide on days. If it is about a grandmother or a five-year-old, start with the guide on children. If it is about the bill, start with cost per person. If the group is already larger than your phone screen, start with the guide on organising.
The guides use the open-trip rhythm: Friday for 3 days, Monday and Wednesday for 2 days. Pick the question that comes up most in the chat, and read that guide first.
Where the numbers in the guides come from
The guides use the same rate card as the rest of the site, issued 8 October 2026.
Park fees come from the shared park data. Sunrise and sunset times come from the month tables. The 4-day route is a sample, and the guides say so each time it comes up.
Bed sizes in centimetres and deck areas are on request, and we answer in writing.
FAQ
Which guide first?
Start with the guide that matches the first question your group asked. If it was how long, read the days guide. If it was about children, read the children guide. If it was money, read cost per person. If it was logistics, read organising.
Are the guides updated when prices change?
Yes. The guides take every price from the same rate card as the rest of the site, so a new rate card changes them together. The rate card on this site is dated 8 October 2026. We confirm any price in writing before you pay.
Who writes the guides?
The booking team at Komodo Explorer writes them, from the rate card, the park data and what groups ask us. The crew of 7 belongs to the boat and does not write them. If a guide leaves out a fact you need, write to us.
